Once your book, story, or article is completed, hire a competent editor to check every word of every page to ensure that the writing is totally professionally, readable, and is presented in a way to hook and hold your readers.  

Before sending the manuscript to a potential publisher, or before self-publishing,  ask a professional to edit the manuscript in regard to spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
