Mr. Fix-It Mends Christmas Mr. Fix-It Mends Christmas truly makes Christ the reason for the season. However, the characters in this family are worn out from the usual hustle and bustle of shopping, high bills, out-of-town guests, frazzled nerves from overwork, and the cooking and baking. Everyone is grumpy and upset with the ugly Christmas tree which adorns the living room. Christmas seems depressing but Someone comes to fix it. This Someone brings miracles and Scripture gifts for everyone. The characters in the family are various ages, making it easy for everyone in the audience to relate in some way. And—there is a preliminary skit in which the younger children will set the stage for this very special Christmas drama. Full details on background, scenery, and props!
Cast for preliminary Skit: Leader, Child with C, Child with H, Child with R, Child with I, Child with S, Child with T, Child with M, Child with A, Child with S - also other children without letters, sitting on the stage floor. Props for preliminary skit: Large Letters spelling out Christmas in red and green and fastened to the front of the children's clothing. Pillows! Cast for Main drama: Leader, Mom, Dad, Jim, Tim, Aunt Judy, Uncle Bill, Lead Caroler, , Grandpa, Aunt Bertha, Susan, Man in Suit, and Mr. Fix-It (Jesus). Setting with props for opening scene: Living room with two doors—one door leads into kitchen—other door is entrance to home. Mom is sitting on the sofa soaking her feet in a bucket of water. Dad is also sitting on sofa, pen in hand, sorting through a stack of unpaid bills and writing checks. Tim is standing near the sofa holding a tea kettle. Aunt Judy is sitting on the floor, a roll of wrapping paper in hand, wrapping a large stuffed animal. She is surrounded by gift-wrapped boxes. Uncle Bill, also sitting on the floor, is trying to repair a television set. Tools and television parts are scattered all around him. In addition to the sofa, there are two living room chairs, a rocking chair, coffee table, throw rugs, lamps, end tables, etc. on the set. Order 19972 $4.00 Electronic download!
